The Kansas Secretary of Commerce, David Toland, Tim Reazin, the Mayor for the City of Eudora, and Modern Manufacturing will be holding a joint press conference in front of Eudora City Hall Today, September 17, 2020 at 1:30 p.m. 

Secretary Toland, Mayor Reazin, and Modern Manufacturing will be officially announcing a new manufacturing facility located in Eudora’s Intech Business Park. Modern Manufacturing has recently acquired an existing building and additional land in the business park and will establish a new manufacturing operation in Eudora. 

Modern Manufacturing is a privately owned, custom manufacturer of high precision metal fabrications, specializing in aluminum, stainless steel, and other high-strength metals. With manufacturing facilities in Canada and, very soon, Eudora Kansas. They provide advanced signaling solutions for signal masts, signal bridges and cantilevers, electronic component houses, LED color light products, and other related railroad products. 

Modern Manufacturing has a proud history serving one of the oldest industries in the world – the railroad. Their successful market leadership is demonstrated in the long-standing relationships we have with some of the largest Class 1 railroads and transit agencies in North America.

Eudora is a full-service city, located six miles east of Lawrence and 23 miles west of the Kansas City Metro. The business park in Eudora is home to several light industrial and commercial enterprises.
