Local Business Services

The Economic Development Corporation of Lawrence & Douglas County strives to make it easy to do business in the region.

Our economic development strategy includes a focus on supporting existing businesses.  Local companies can be assured that when they need us, we’re here for them.  The Chamber, Lawrence, Kansas, serves as the EDC’s go-to organization for local business support. Consider it your one-stop shop for business assistance.

The Chamber’s professional staff is ready to help business owners and managers access available assistance and navigate challenges at the local and state level.  No matter the need, contact the Chamber first.

Our quality workforce gives us an advantage over other regions and we’d like to keep it that way.  That’s why we’re focused on supporting the training and workforce development programs that our employers need to stay competitive.
